HFT
Beyond Swing Trading
Swing trading is accessible to almost anyone with basic market knowledge, discipline, and a commitment to learning through practice. However, don't be misled into thinking that swing trading (or "investing" as some prefer to call it) requires less skill or knowledge than shorter timeframes.
Every trade, regardless of timeframe, demands competence and accountability. The difference with HFT is primarily the level of difficulty, it's the "final boss" of the trading world. For those aspiring to make trading their profession, understanding HFT principles becomes essential.
HFT requires:
Exceptional discipline and emotional control
Advanced technical analysis skills
Deep understanding of market microstructure
Superior risk management capabilities
Technical proficiency with trading platforms
The ability to make decisions in milliseconds
Understanding of algorithms and order types
Note: This section is currently under construction. Future content will include morning routines for day traders, order flow analysis, market depth interpretation, volume profile trading, timeframe correlation techniques, and practical setups for various market conditions.
